The day begins at dawn again. The Cotton company has been hired to do the  initial clean-up. They are based in Huston, Texas  and specialize in disaster clean-up including floods and fires. The Cotton company is preapproved by the GSA which is vital for our building with the federal tenants.

Most of today involved pumping water out of the elevator pits and the main levels. And as with each day since Saturday, supervision of business people who need access to their office space and the security of the building continues.

Brian's knowledge of how the building mechanical systems work and available community services, along with his incident command experiences are invaluable in this process. Quick action to get  the water out of  the building will help to minimize damage and assure the safety of Plaza 425 business employees. Insurance agents and inspectors are contacted. Vendors are lined up and organized to begin repairs yet this week. Plaza 425 has moved from disaster mode to recovery.
