Brian went back to the building on Friday. He walked in from Green Square Park through about 1 - 1½ feet of water to the Third Avenue Parkade. Then he continued through the skywalk system to the Plaza 425 building. By this time, the generator on the roof had stopped running. We later found out this was due to the fuel pumps failing when they were under water. The generator itself is still in working order. We lost all power and lighting to the building when the fuel pumps went down.

 It was so hard to believe how much water had flooded the downtown area.  The pictures below show the area around the Plaza 425 on Friday morning, just before the water crested.
